Founding VDRC 

During the 2023 AAD Vulvar forum, after an enlightened conversation about organizing people

interested in Vulvar Dermatology, Dr. Melissa Mauskar placed a sign-up sheet outside the conference room. 

We had 20 members at our first meeting, and from there our organization grew to 90 members in less than 1 year! What started as a social gathering grew into the Vulvar Dermatoses Research Consortium after input from its members and the four founders: Christina Kraus, Alicia Little, Melissa Mauskar, and Olushola Akinshemoyin Vaughn. The first Board of Directors added Resident and Medical student representatives, Sydney Rivera and Madeline Ngo.
